We really should have 4-5 strikers. We have 1.

If Angus gets injured it's going to be a circus.

Time for R&R to prove how much hard cash they are prepared to throw at us to keep our promotion hopes alive.Looking at the other thread, there are quality players out there that we could sign for the rest of the season but we are taking relatively big money.

I'd like to see us go for it as there's still a chance this season

Throwing silly money at lads who won’t be anywhere near match fit.

We should really be recalling the lads at Caernarfon as an absolute minimum.

At this level, if a player is of a much higher quality you'd hope he'd be good enough to take the piss out of the defenders in this league. Glen Little literally couldn't run but he was the best player on the park every week.

How can we recall Bickerstaff (who isn't ready for this level anyway) when we've sent him with no recall option ?

Oh, and just saying, this is not our silly money anymore. If R&R are willing to stump up the cash we don't have to pay it back. They own the place now

I'd keep it as we started yesterday with Jarvis coming in upfront. He has played as a striker for Stoke U23's and he just offers that something special. The lad can make things happen, and could see him playing up with Dior easy. We will probably see Durrell up front instead, and if I'm being honest, I'd rather Ruthers in before Durrell because he just doesn't cover enough ground. So much space on his side for the opposition to take advantage of.

We have to go with what we have on Monday but we need 2 strikers in this coming week. The 'who' is the big question

Silly money is silly money regardless of whose money it is. Expecting them to act in such a manner is silly in itself. There’s no indication they’re going to act in such a way.

If someone is available then by all means go for it but throwing, for example, 50-100k at someone for a few weeks is not plausible.
