We’re going with what we’ve got.

But what if he then (inevitably) gets injured during his 2 month spell with us? Then all of a sudden his bigger move (to the MLS I'd guess) would be off. He, and many other ex prem big name strikers, have more to lose than gain by coming here in my opinion.

What do has achieved is a good group of players who seem to tell together. that was there to see with kwame turning up last Friday. Life is full of trials don't write these guys off just yet, although some on here would love the next two results to be heavy defeats just to see off Dk .

Sturridge would never come here. He believes in his head he should be on over 100k a week, that's just how the lad is, and has been like that all his career. He left city at a young age because he wanted over 100k then, so there is 0 chance he would come here.

Problem we may have is if we bring in a player who hasn't played in a year he will probably pick up muscle injuries in the first game. We need someone who maybe playing non contract terms or someone who has been training at a club but not signed. When you look at it like that, Keates will struggle to find anyone. Simple answer is Davies or Jarvis upfront with Dior.

May sound okay to us but it won’t to him. The ego he has he still believes he’s good enough for championship if not prem. Him dropping to non league scoring goals wouldn’t enhance anything for him as he already believes he’s well above us & our league. If we go for anyone it’ll be someone similar to Ishmael Miller
