I think we all know the reality - we’ll go with what we’ve got. I’d be very surprised if we bring anyone in, let alone anyone who can make an impact.

Someone mentioned on the live thread Daniel Sturidge. Without a club, 32, considering going to the USA.
Wouldn't be cheap. Could do for us what Mike Marsh did for Kiddy years ago!!!

Obviously it'll never happen but you'd think for him why not, what does he have to lose?

However do feel that if we do not get another body up front we will not even make the playoffs.Angus rarely plays 90 minutes and is our only fit forward.Concerned with naivety of letting Bickerstaffe go on loan and more so that Keates commented he did not want unhappy players (Yussuf).Chesterfield now 6th and a clear playoff rival.
It was just training to keep his fitness - he still lives near Swansea with his family.

The sad thing is these are practically our only options looking on transfermarkt website. Only other player I could find is Wes Thomas ex Notts County who left in January, scored 10 goals for them in the 19/20 season.

What that list doesnt show is recently retired players. I'm sure Dean has played with many retired strikers in his time, and I'm sure some of them would have kept themselves fit. You never know what might happen, but I'm expecting Dior and Durrell on Monday. The joke is we have Grant and Bickerstaff on our books, and it once has Keates mentioned recalling any of them.

Should never be in this situation in the first place. I get Kwame injury is literally unfortunate but Ponch has been injured mostly all season & when he’s played he’s looked unfit. So not to have more cover is nothing short of amateurish! Sadly its going to cost us promotion & Keates his job I’d say. It’s going to be a huge struggle tk stay in play offs. Tough games coming & he’ll likely carry on using Durell over Jarvis.
