What that list doesnt show is recently retired players. I'm sure Dean has played with many retired strikers in his time, and I'm sure some of them would have kept themselves fit. You never know what might happen, but I'm expecting Dior and Durrell on Monday. The joke is we have Grant and Bickerstaff on our books, and it once has Keates mentioned recalling any of them.

Should never be in this situation in the first place. I get Kwame injury is literally unfortunate but Ponch has been injured mostly all season & when he’s played he’s looked unfit. So not to have more cover is nothing short of amateurish! Sadly its going to cost us promotion & Keates his job I’d say. It’s going to be a huge struggle tk stay in play offs. Tough games coming & he’ll likely carry on using Durell over Jarvis.

Really? No release clause? Has that been confirmed by the club? If that is the case, with how Keates has left us short up top, it is another bad mistake by our manager. What was he thinking sending players out and not being able to recall them? Mental!

No reason to believe it isn't true. We have Bickerstaff and Grant out on loan so one or both would have been recalled for yesterday with us being down to 2 fit strikers so reading between the lines we have no recall option

How far retired? Rooster? Jon Bowden or Jim Steel?

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think you’re allowed to recall outfield players on long term loan (over 93 days).

But yes, regardless we were already a bit light up front 3 strikers for 2 spots for the rest of the season was never going to end well.

What if both clubs agree to it?
