I’m not sure about chucking centre-backs up front. Some have suggested French has played there before? Keates did try this with Simon Ainge previously and that was a disaster.

I can’t see us taking anything out of the game tomorrow. Keates will most prob start the game as we finished on Friday.

Although he has been subject to a lot of, in my mind unjust, ridicule Rutherford would be the obvious support player for Angus. His work rate is without question, he can hold up play and, yes, he is due a goal. If he is not injured I would much rather him than Durrell in that role. Share the role with Jarvis... one replacing the other after an hour as neither has 90 minute game time in them.

No confidence in a win, Torquay have turned the corner, Cant see who is going to score for us. A draw would be a good result.

Good news, he’s due his 1 goal a season but that said it normally takes him 47 starts so could be a long wait this season.

We'll soon see how Keates' brain works in adversity. As he admits, the goal is promotion, not just making the POs.

That's still possible -- however unlikely many think -- but we need 3 points. A draw wouldn't be good enough, whilst a defeat drives a stake through our heart rather than a nail in the coffin.
