Complete rebuild from bottom to top required before next season starts.
I'd start now by getting the academy sorted then start shaking everything up on the playing side of things as soon as the final whistle blows on the season.
I would imagine conversations and plans are already happening behind the scenes with Fleur and Humphrey et al.
The key decision will be will they renew DK contract(which is until end of season)
If we reach the playoffs might be key to DKs future

One of those sorry quandaries, where you find yourself almost hoping that we don't make the play-offs, in the belief that it would at least mean the end DK's tenure.

Unfortunately, today is the legacy of WST rule. A poor manager at the helm and a wafer thin squad bound to collapse when key players become unavailable.

For me, the loss to Notts County and the accompanying injuries were the end of our season.

It is also baffling to me why Keates would continue to play route one with no target man in the team.

I think the answer is simple the squad is so wafer thin they dont have many options.

Redmond? Durrell? Rutherford? Are the only fit forwardish players left

Wafer thin and poor quality squad built on WST pennies thank Goodness for the takeover and a better future

No chance of the play offs now.

If they are going to get rid of Keates and his gang it needs to be done pretty soon. Only a few of the players have contracts for next season so an opportunity for a new manager to get rid of who he doesn’t want and build (yet another) squad for next season.

A new manager needs the last 6 or 7 games to assess the current squad, see what their like in training etc.

after losing yussuf in the transfer window, then 2 strikers injured it does make me wonder what scenario would ever result in Redmond getting on the pitch

This is undoubtedly the worst I've ever seen this league and we're outside the play offs. Tara Dean.

Last game is May 29th( assuming we dont make the play off) DK contract ends Fleur begins her job on May 31st .I suspect the action will be first week of June .The new season begins August 21st so plenty of time to bring in new manager
