Re: Who goes and who stays ?
You've got to look at the players and ask yourselves could they perform at the higher end of league 2. Unfortunately the answer to most of our players is NO.
However, id definitely keep the following; Lainton Pearson Kelleher Vassell Hall Johnson French Davies Thomas I'm unsure on the following; Young Jarvis Angus I'd release or loan out if under contract the following; Dibble Reckord Carrington Rutherford Harris Durrell Jarvis Ponticelli |

Re: Who goes and who stays ?
A lot will depend on how the club is set up for next season, will there be a reserve team, under 23's and what youth set up will there be.
Also will the policy be to clear the decks in one window or bring in additional quality to support a first and second team and keep the likes of Carrington to guide the youth players My view would be something like this to support a two team structure Goalkeepers - Lainton, Dibble +1 (of decent quality) Full backs - Hall Johnson + 3 new Centre Backs - Pearson, Kelleher, Vassal, French, Cleworth + 2 Midfield - Davies, Young, Harris, Jarvis + 4 Forwards - Thomas, Ponticelli, Bickerstaff, Angus + 3 This would give you a squad of 28 for 2 teams, with 13 new players joining the club, there may also be room for Carrington and Rutherford to guide any players setting up from youth football. |

Re: Who goes and who stays ?
If Harris can play in League One or Two then so could Young.
Young has played 100+ in the League as a youngster. Dior Angus is one of the best forwards we’ve had in a long time IMO. In a proper team he would be excellent. Keatesball doesn’t give forwards a chance really. Unless you count having to chase the ball 20 yards in front of you all game. |

Young is out player of the season, he's a quality midfield player who can score goals. You won't get much better than Young at this level.
