If only the WST had shown the same humility circa 2012.

The fact ex-players clash and have completely different opinions on an issue suggests being an ex-pro doesn't mean as much as the initial post would have you believe.

There have been successful managers who played as amateurs or semi-pro at best.

Leonardo Jardim, Arsene Wenger, Gerard Houllier, Carlos Alberto Parreira, Arrigo Sacchi, André Villas-Boas, Sven-Goran Eriksson, Avram Grant, Ralf Rangnick, Maurizio Sarri, Brian Kerr, Paul Clement, Brendan Rodgers, Guy Roux etc.

I played for the Ajax junior teams until I became homesick. I came home and signed for Liverpool then moved on to United. At the age of 15 I moved to America to coach then on to Real Madrid to coach the under 18's.

I couldn't be arsed with it all in the end so I decided to come home and now I work as an escort in the North Wales area. I tend to pay my debts in inches.

You were sure to tell them though publicly that in your opinion the lighting, casting and editing was wrong though. You were sure to tell them that from your knowledge of running a film studio that the executives were shit and should be sacked but not offering any suggestions how to improve?

I'm not a gynaecologist but I'm happy to take a look!

For those who can't remember, it was on the lines of "the fans know nothing about football"
We all know what we'd like to see and think we know how to achieve our goals but ultimately it's down to resources, the talent (or lack of) available, a good manager / coach and that bit of luck, often created by maximum effort.
Missed that from Dean Saunders Fair doos...

100% agree. My biggest gripe about trust ownership, I get told to change the record about DoF at the club.
