What was is gradually being swept away.

The problem we have that the most visible part of the previous regime, the management and what they put out, are still here.

They will be gone, but it's not happening quickly enough for a fanbase who never wanted them. As fans aren't allowed to show their feelings in the stadium the only thing that can be done is fans not paying for the stream. I do feel it is a little unrealistic of the club and R&R to think fans will pay for what it being put out until Keates et al are down the road.

It's a shame. The bright new dawn is still there, but some of the lustre is dulling.

Why wait three of the new electronic boards cost more than Keates annual wage? Let’s pay him off, advertise for another manger (and boy there would be hundreds) and let him or her plan for next season.

Also I note that TNS had 154 applications for their managers post and yet we only interviewed one ?????

This has been my thoughts on Keates all along this season. All well and good making us difficult to beat but we aren't good enough to win the league so we would have to beat these teams in the playoffs.

I wasn't surprised that Keates was retained as manager after the takeover.

We'd missed the transfer window (….not that you can sign much mid-season), and his contract expired at the end of the season.

From the owners point of view, why not see his capabilities first hand and hear his philosophies and ideas with nothing really to lose.

Hopefully by now they have seen what we all knew - that Keates is out of his depth and is tactically inept.

Now get his replacement lined up so that when they join us they can hit the ground running and put together a squad that can compete with the best, because yesterday was a wake up call for just how far off we are from being a genuine promotion contenders.
