Terrible call from the club if true, hopefully this can be rectified and an edited version re-release. Poor from the club to not get in touch with the lads to explain there actions and try and sort it out. After saying they'd welcome 'The Ker' on an episode too.

One question to Mr Ker would be if R&R bought the club due to the fans and associated community and culture why such expressions of that are being clamped down on in such a manner.

If it’s just the video clip of a goal I’m sure it can be rectified quickly. There are other podcasts that are Wrexham AFC based that don’t have the same issues?

I guess using clubs logo/footage is a bit of a no no. That might change?

It could be something to do with what was in the top right corner of the backboard, but that's an easy fix.

I was planning on watching it today, so hopefully it goes back up soon. Keep hearing nothing but good things about it.

That is nothing to do with the club though unless they want to keep that type of content to the official twitter account again

Yeah seems a little petty. I'd wager that if this podcast was more supportive of our crap football and how we've been run in the past the media team wouldn't have done anything about it too.

Surely a polite request to the lads doing the podcast to edit the video would've done the trick rather than getting it taken down completely?

Exactly how I see it HU. I believe it was the media team that complained about using the goal footage. No biggy, first episodes will always have a few niggles.
I believe the backdrop used is just a reproduction of some graffiti found in Helsinki. Perhaps they should ask the artist for permission too? To be fair Wrexham Lager have been absolutely fantastic even with them bringing the old branding back.
