Davies was unplayable in that first half. Halifax couldn't get near him. Angus was also good and took his goal well.

Omotayo can win headers and did well for Angus' goal but I don't think he's at the level we need - but we had limited options so we could have done worse.

Defence was professional, back to what we expect from a Keates defence.

Saw the team and expected the worst. Glad I was proved wrong.

Class from JD, excellent finishing.

Standard Ruthers and a couple of nice touches from Redmond. Hopefully he has shown in training he is worth another opportunity and he gets to take it.

Get these new strikers fit and we will have half a chance.

Not sure what to say about the game. Lost for words really. It was all setup for us to get smashed tonight before the game. Awful form, and a poor eleven on paper.

Jordan Davies showed why Brighton took a chance on him a few years ago. Unusual for the likes of davies to get given the opportunity to be positive and move forward. Scored some really good goals.... the best individual performance I’ve seen this season.

Defence looked happier with french at RWB and Pearson’s organisation. Dibble still sadly looked a calamity waiting to happen but was rarely troubled. Was the Halifax shot over the line?

Gold won a few flick-ons and the assisted header was good after me suggesting he should never play for Wrexham again!! Angus does need someone to play off to have any sort of affect of a game.

Halifax must be kicking themselves for the defensive frailties they showed in the first half. It was a dire showing from them..... similar to ours on Saturday. A very lacklustre display from them. You could argue Keates and co did a job on them.
