Default The Final Hurdle - Play off Chasers

Thought it would be interesting to compare the 6 pointers each of the likely play off chasers have remaining, it looks very good for us (although who knows what sort of Wrexham will turn up ). Obviously there are plenty of other games which throw up results but 6 pointers often decide a teams fate...

The run in is a blood bath, and we may well sneak in under them all..

Lots of permutations but, most importantly, we must now win most of our remaining games.

We can do it, but it won’t be easy!

Might depend on what the programme producers want for Netflix or whoever is producing the tv series.

“The run in is a blood bath”

It really, really, isn’t.

Good point, well made by OP.

I think playing clubs in the bottom places not battling relegation will this season, and uniquely, given no relegation be a definite advantage. It’s often said that what you want in the last few games, whether pushing for promotion or battling relegation are games v mid table sides who are mentally on the beach (OK, may be Black Rock not Magaluf this year).

So basically that is everyone from Alty down and the list will increase as the likes of Solihull, Aldershot and BHW fall off the pace.

Think our fixtures versus non-playoff teams are still quite tricky but the advantage is not playing many midweek fixtures and playing many of the trickier fixtures at home (imagine having to go to Yeovil on a Tuesday night for instance). There’s a long way to go yet but you’d like to think that our destiny is still in our hands.
