Default Ratings vs Woking

Dibble 6 - apart from 1 fumble in the first half was largely untroubled

Carra 7 - solid but his distribution could have been better
Pearson 8 - a captain’s performance again
Kelleher 8 - kicked and headed everything that came near him.

RHJ 7 - thought he could have been better in the first half but made up for it with a goal and a better 2nd half
Young 9 - thought he was excellent throughout MOTM
Jordan 8 - great 4th goal and a decent performance overall. A different ref may have sent him off after he was late to a tackle.
Rutherford 8 - was busy, picked up all the loose and prompted the forwards throughout
Reckord 7 - thought it was his best performance in a Wrexham shirt

Angus 7 - not as sharp as in recent games but getting a decent understanding with Gold
Omotayo 8 - took his goal well and led the line well. Doesn’t give the ball away when it comes to him.

French - was unlucky to miss out but didn’t let anyone down when he came on
Harris - only action was to clatter their lad!
Sang - should have scored but had just come on so give him a bit of leeway.

It was typical Keatesball in the first half but I thought we managed the game brilliantly. The defence was untroubled throughout. Having said that Woking were very poor.

I thought Rutherford was top class today and my MOM. Whizzed around supporting the ball closing down quickly if needed and keeping shape if we were struggling for men defensively. No silly free kicks given away like Harris does-he’d get the nod next game for me ahead of Harris.

Agreed he allows Davies to play a free role and shine further up the pitch. I prefer Rutherford to Harris.

Fully agree with Young MOM. He was our control and distribution in midfield. The 8 for Ruthers?.. again spot on! You cannot underestimate the space that his hard work creates for the team and, in the right system, he warrants a chance next season. The back 3 were immense. Jordan covered a lot of ground and made another telling contribution. Having options upfront seems to have relieved a lot of indecision in our play. Well done Keates, credit where its due.
