Re: New Manager Appointed (Womens U19)
I believe she would have taken over 1st team duties and the current manager Luke Wynne would have taken the U19 role aswell as assistant to Casey.
She dropped out last minute due to the abuse leaving the door open for the Owen husband and wife partnership.

Wrexham would be a lot less hours whilst still keeping her in the game.

Re: New Manager Appointed (Womens U19)
Casey Stoney was never in the frame for the Wrexham Womens Team, not the first team or the under 19s. We are going to play in the welsh league, not the english league. It's like saying Jurgan Klopp is going to manage Porthmadog.
Its laughable to even think that. I dont even know what the money is like in welsh women's football, but I'm guessing it's a lot less than the english system. Only good thing is, if we get promoted, then we will have a chance to make a European competition. The women's side of the game is going to highly funded from the success of the mans game. I'm happy we now have a womans team again, and that we are taking it more seriously, but I really cant see it being self funding any time soon. I'm not knocking it, just being realistic. Also happy to have Gareth Owen back working for the club.
