Re: Kwame Thomas
Great news, and glad he has another year. He is a quality player and hopefully he will come back stronger and we will see an even better version of him moving forward.

Re: Kwame Thomas
Well done Rob and Ryan.
KWAME THOMAS has revealed that Hollywood stars Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds reassured the striker that he "would be looked after" when he suffered a serious injury. The striker ruptured his left Achilles in training the day before Wrexham were due to face Notts County over the Easter weekend, ruling the 25-year-old out of the run-in and facing an even longer spell on the sidelines. Although he was leading scorer at the time with nine goals, Thomas faced an uncertain future as he was out of contract at the end of the campaign. However, the famous actors both got in touch with Thomas to ease his concerns and the frontman will continue his rehabilitation knowing he has a future at The Racecourse after penning a new one year deal. "When you get injured there is the uncertainty of not knowing what is happening," said Thomas. "But at the same time, near the beginning when I got injured I had a call from Rob and he told me I would be looked after. "He didn't have to ring me but that was nice to hear so I had a certain amount of peace of mind one way or another. "Ryan also sent me a video message. They are things they didn't have to do but they obviously did that because they have watched me and care about what has happened." Thomas, unable to help Wrexham secure a play-off spot as the promotion challenge ended following a final day draw at Dagenham, says his recovery is going well. "It's good to sign my contract after everything that went on and the disappointment of being injured," said Thomas. "I am happy to get everything sorted and I can just concentrate on my recovery now which is the main thing. "I can put all my focus into that; no rush and make sure I am 100 per cent, and get back to doing what I was doing before and more."

Re: Kwame Thomas
I am interested to see what Kwame can bring to the team as a target man, perhaps alongside a natural goalscorer to play off him..when we aren't just hoofing it forward every time...get decent crosses in from wingers and he will thrive i'm sure.
