I was just wondering whether, given the documentary, charisma is a bigger factor than it normally would be for the recruitment of our next manager? As the manager is likely to feature heavily, won’t they want someone who “makes good telly” as well as being able to do a good job in the role?

I would imagine that most of us assumed that last year when the words Hollywood and Documentary first surfaced, in all honesty. That's why it'll be a suprise appointment that nobody predicted.

Could our new manager be Russel Crowe in the guise of Maximus Decimus Meridius?

He has bags of charisma; links with the area; good in front of the camera; and would scare the hell out of any opponents as he waved his Gladius from our new 3G technical area. This would comply with our new bi-lateral deal with Oz, too.

For the documentary, which is only confirmed for two series, promotion is probably vital to securing a third series. So, for the documentary, a manger to get Wrexham promoted is key not how good they look on TV.

I expect whoever it is will be an improvement on our previous manager.
