Could be an interesting week ahead, especially if the club's forced to go for other options.

Seems likely that Challinor was in the frame before Hartlepool's promotion but doesn't appear that Hudson was a serious contender.
Common practice for managers to have " few days" thinking over offer.
But it does seem like a golden opportunity for some manager .
We should know by Wednesday latest.

Very happy if he is appointed

If turns it down how will be another candidate be spun as the first choice ?Might call for a bigger name in that situation.

Managed some big clubs and has a few promotions on the CV. Not the most attractive style of play though

He's managed successfully at a higher level for so long, if he's already questioning the job offer having applied it just makes me think he'll be off to the first bigger club that comes in, although a good pay off clause can protect us to an extent

They did. Although his Bradford side was set up to be hard to beat and was a lot more defensive. It worked though.

Does ring alarm bells .Hard to decide on him as a few promotions but few sackings too.Clearly very experienced but we do not want another Brian Little.Any dithering I would go for Mike Flynn.
