Default Re: DSA - Back in the fold

It was a hugely positive meeting, followed up with a long phone call with Kerry yesterday.

Many things on our wish list are also on the club's - some of these will happen soon, some are plans for further down the line.

We've also jointly brainstormed on many ideas and possibilities to make things even better going forward.

It's a fresh start in our relationship with the club, lines are drawn on the past and we are looking on what can be achieved by the club.

It's a whole new ball game and to kick it off our investment promised on Tuesday evening is estimated will be well in excess of £3000.

We'll leave the many and varied announcements of accessible and inclusive improvements at the ground to the club over the next period of time, do watch out for these via Kerry's media channels as well as the club's main site.

I don't know if its unfair of me to say but think there is a tendency in some quarters (I've definitely done so in my younger years) to consider the needs of disabled fans as "someone else's problem". Steps like buying a defib show the need for inclusivity, you might have no health issues but one day be thankful that equipment like this is in the ground. Congratulations to all involved

Only yesterday i came across the screenshots i took of the "View from the Racecourse" @VRacecourse twitter that tried to turn the fans against the DSA.

What a nasty piece of work that person was!
