No wonder this country has been through the ringer with absolute ignoramuses like you wandering around the place.
So much for living with the virus! Have you left your house in 18 months?

Also - what a fluent and wide ranging interview - professionalism at the club is clearly on the increase.
Great to see how comfortable Parkin is talking, he clearly knows the game inside out and it’s great to finally have a manager with a totally trusted assistant with him. I always think assistant managers who have previously been managers are great ones to have. They are vastly experienced and know what’s what.

Compare this to shifty Keates who couldn’t look the interviewer in the eye ever.

Yeah - was at Tamworth at the weekend most recently, haven't left it since then, let me know if that's enough for you pls hun.

Living with the virus doesn't include willingly exposing other people to it. Do you know the vaccine status of the first team? Or their families? Or the trialists?

The fact that Parkin can speak English helps.

I was disappointed he didn't say how many overloads we had though.

He did say the “football” once but that kind of talk can be ironed out I’m sure.

Living with the virus means living with the threat of the virus not getting the virus and living as normal. Maybe in a few years after booster jabs and natural immunity is higher we will be in a position to do that. Not able to currently

Yes you are right it's just frustrating, will be good when the day comes we can treat it like normal flu or whatever.

Lewis Hamilton has indicated he might be suffering from long covid, one of the fittest and looked after sportsmen about. We only have to look down the road at another manager who was seriously ill over the last week. It has not disappeared.

Is that what anyone thinks 'living with the virus' means, ignoring a positive test and acting entirely normal?

Take covid out of it, if you are knowingly ill with the flu etc and go around spreading it to people it is vile, likewise a range of other stuff Even before the pandemic if players or staff were ill it was pretty standard to isolate.
