As others have said, hopefully he's double jabbed and won't be away for too long.
If he's feeling okay, he can be busy on the phone signing players.
But seriously, I hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Is that what anyone thinks 'living with the virus' means, ignoring a positive test and acting entirely normal?

Take covid out of it, if you are knowingly ill with the flu etc and go around spreading it to people it is vile, likewise a range of other stuff Even before the pandemic if players or staff were ill it was pretty standard to isolate.
But this is different when you don't know you have it though, if you are ill then fair enough you stay in bed and get better.

He literally says in the opening few seconds of the video that Parkinson felt a bit ill and wanted to be safe so took the test. After coming up positive he's isolated.

That's what 'living with the virus' means. It's the only way we're able to keep it under control.

That can’t happen because some control of it needs to exist to ensure the continued unlocking of restrictions.

However we need to accept that , like most people, he is thankfully not poorly. There is no need to say “get better soon” like so many are doing , because he isn’t ill. Most people are not ill. The vast vast vast majority are either not ill, slightly under the weather or just down with a bug for a few days. Hyping every case up into a life or death moment is just ridiculous and prolonging the pandemic mentality that is making people so frightened and damaging mental health.

Steve Parkin said PP felt a bit ill in the video didn’t he? So he is ill, or is he lying?

I see you are still not cured of that silly wumming virus that you caught. They need to develop a vaccine for that fast.

PP probably had a bit of a cough, sore throat and felt a bit under the weather, took a test, came back positive.

So he is ill. You can split hairs all you like - but he is ill. 'Mild symptoms' is still being ill.

Hopefully, one of the takeaways from this pandemic is that presenteeism and dragging yourself in when you are objectively ill will come to an end.

Agree with your last point.

Disagree with “mild symptoms” being ill. We all have mild symptoms of all kinds of things all of the time. If we are going to terrify people and shut down society because of “mild symptoms” , we are a society that will regress.

If its mild symptoms of something that kills people though yes we will and have. 18 months on and people still don't get it. Scary
