Mark Hughes v Spain I was right at the front on the fence and ball just appeared above my head. Couldn’t move on kop that night - full of loons from Cardiff looking for The Jacks.
Also one of my abiding memories. Me and my mates were pretty close to the front, right behind the goal. What will always stick in my mind, is the feeling of complete elation, coupled with absolute terror, when Hughes's bicycle kick went in and the entire Kop surged forward. Honestly thought I was done for!, for one brief moment, as the human tsunami carried us ominously close to the fence.

Juan Sebastien Veron nearly breaking my foot with a free kick in a pre season friendly (it went miles over and I stuck my foot out to try and trap it as it sailed in to the Kop, misjudged it and ball smashed my foot in to the concrete. I didn't let on to anyone how much that really hurt.

Going absolutely mental when Carey struck a worldy of a winner in front of the lowest attendance of the season (possibly ever for a league game) on a horrible Tuesday night.

Niall Quinn smacking a ball straight into my mate’s face during the warm-up against Republic of Ireland, about 1991.

Marvellous scenes!

Never saw Wrexham win when I was standing on the Kop so I moved to another part of the ground.

Having a spot on the Kop when Wynne Davies led the Welsh Airforce to a 10-1 victory over Hartlepool.

Not long after as a young lad standing on the kop in snow surrounded by scousers as Liverpool gave us a beating. They never experienced the joys of the kop bogs as they peed where they stood at hallf time.

Totally. *Think* I remember being lifted off my feet a few times at that game by the crowd.

The Arsenal FA cup game and ending up about twenty feet from where I started after the celebrations for Watkins goal.

Standing at the front in one game with friends in a snowstorm to chants of 'spot the loonies down the front'.
We got a good view when we scored though..

Mince pies free from the kiosk at Christmas.

Pre game ritual of pot noodle and chomp bar. Not together obviously.

Making my dad and everyone around me nervous if I hadn't finished my tea before kick off. Otherwise an early goal saw it go flying.

Obviously!, as it would be hideous to combine two such fine, nutritious delicasies.

Also, right behind the goal when Dixie scored the only goal of the game, to win the FA Cup 2nd replay against the then Cup holders, West Ham (80-81). Left foot, keeper's bottom-left corner. Can still see it now, clear as day!.
