It is very annoying that we probably lose 1000 seats for a number of sides in this league that will bring about 30 fans.

This would be perfect, there would be little chance of away fans getting any sort of atmosphere going.

i have often thought and commented upon temporary structures at the lower part of the kop for quite some time, i was thinking more in the way of the first say six steps up while worked continued to the rear, i daresay the "what if" brigade would be able to conjure up a multitude of dangerous (but unlikely) scenarios to prevent any alleviation to segregation, but given the increasing interest in the club and the obvious desire in supporters old and new to attend games, surely there must be a way of decreasing segregation for small numbers of away supporters and increasing when substantial supporters are visiting, necessity being the mother of invention could not relocatable steelwork be employed to offer segregation, it is certainly not above the technical capabilities of the majority of engineering/fabrication companies

Since when have Notts County ever been considered a well supported team?

My understanding is the Kop has long been deemed unsafe because of the crumbling concrete and the potential toxic under-soil.

Could it be made safe? Probably. But at what cost?

Why not knock it down ASAP and build a new, purpose-designed stand that would meet our long-term requirements.

When the Tech End is fixed we should have enough capacity for this season provided we curtail the seating allocated to away fans. After all, very few teams are likely to bring significant numbers.

IMHO, Le Kop est morté. Viva Le Stand John Neal!

IF we can match the current hope of success with actual success - I am 90% confident we will - then the sky is the limit.

How far can the Racecourse be expanded? I would guess somewhere between 20-25,000 when the Kop has been redeveloped and if both the Yale and Tech End follow suit.

Would make for interesting times as the local infrastructure currently struggles whenever we bust 5,000 gates.

An interesting conundrum for both the club and county council.
