Hopefully we can start building bridges amongst all Wrexham fans but, reading some of the nationalistic jingo spouted by some on other threads, I think barriers are sadly what some want in their back-yards!

Exciting times ahead. Let’s enjoy it and not blow it!

PS Sad to see my old ‘office’ retire the other day. Many happy and sometimes stressful hours boring holes in the sky!

Before this season we only used the University stand end for Chester and Tranmere as far as I can remember. Unless the league insist on it it must be surely down to the individual club to decide if they want to allow away supporters anywhere in the ground. With 5000 plus season tickets sold we will be close to 8K every match with home supporters who do not have season tickets. Maybe the clubs approach will be only allow in those who are registered members now and control this through making all matches all ticket with sales through Ticketmaster. Highly unlikely that if the club membership is now closed many away supporters will have joined, but very likely that those who are home supporters have already done so . This would remove the need to allocate an area for away supporters completely at Wrexham.

It is supposedly the spill from many old pits, so has a few nasties in it.

Someone mentioned earlier in the 70s a load of Liverpool fans pissed on the Kop instead of using the bog. Must be that.

Couldnt we just tell every club in our league - a maximum of 500 away fans at the Racecourse and thats it. They might get shitty in return and slam a maximum on us. But that would mean kissing goodbye to gate/food revenue, so perhaps they wont.

Since we've been in a league where we are lucky if the opposition team brings more than 50 away fans aka the last 14 years.
