Do we have to offer seating to away supporters or can it be standing only...might make things a bit easier ...or not?
Some of the cattle sheds and crappy little terraces I'm sure we have all had endure over the years...the car wash terrace at Morecambe springs to mind!

If its pit spoil it is going to be terrible. Cyanide, asbestos, coal tar at the very least. Made ground from that time period included basically anything and everything you could get your hands on! Nice high profile job for a remediation contractor to win that, but their bread and butter and nothing for us to worry about.

Bogs themselves were bad enough to consider it contaminated land for the next thousand years.

Just had a chat with a few Notts fans in work and even with a the match on TV they think there will be alot looking to travel over for the match. Not sure what the ground attendance is at the moment but it could be a very big crowd for that match.

Make it all ticket for away fans too, and if they can only sell a fraction of their allocation then split that section of the Yale in half with some netting or something.

I’m sure we did this in the Tech End when we got promoted against Cambridge in 2003. And I seem to remember Luton and Lincoln giving tiny away allocations towards the end of their promotion seasons in similar fashion.

I don't think so, it never touched the ground. In those days they were noted for peeing in other people's pockets in tight crowds.

Exactly my thoughts, the reason being construction work, while the ground is being refurbished then unfortunately restrictions to away fans need to apply.

I remember a temporary stand at Barnet's' old ground at Underhill. I'm told a radio commentator referred to it as bouncing up and down cos 400 odd Wrexham fans were pretending to be seagulls! The truth of the matter was a ginger haired steward waving his arms about trying to stop us from celebrating a goal, caused us to replicate his antics. We did laugh until we left and noticed that the stand was made out of old scaffolding poles and sheets (wooden planks). I believe Barnet never used it again, and soon moved to their new ground which I have to say is pretty decent with a large bar and hot dog stand for away supporters. Sorry its old age my mind tends to wander but safety of all supporters must be the first priority.

Shame our game there in January is on a Tuesday night, as I'm sure we would have brought a fair few, if we were doing okay. Midweek matches nearly always knock a couple of hundrerd off our away followings. Same with our home game which is a Tuesday in September, that'll probably affect the number you bring here.
