Not sure if it's been mentioned before. but with the demand for seating, which will only go through the roof when we're successful on the pitch, wouldn't it be a good idea to put away supporters in a temporary stand at the kop end to free up the seats in the Yale.

First block of the MRS stand by the kop, would be ideal if they could have their own facilities.

Think Telford and FGR done similar with small amounts of fans in their stand.

Only Stockport, Notts County and Chesterfield will bring decent numbers.

The Kop is not in use as the concrete is breaking up (and the soil underneath may be contaminated) was my understanding..therefore putting a temporary structure on top would surely be a bad idea. Plus we probably don’t have enough buckets for toilet facilities not to mention the food situation and that there is ready access to the playing surface without any barriers. Apart from that I think it’s a go-er!!

Some games away fans would just need a home and away dugout size stand.

Other matches (Stockport, Notts County etc) away fans would need 1,000 plus seats.

There is also access, facilities, security and much more to consider. For me this is a non starter, especially with the demolition of The Kop going on also.

It is a great idea.

We could model it on a cheap, low quality, zero facilities, small capacity temporary structure - looking around Wales for inspiration perhaps this type of thing:
