I would agree and if people 'change their minds' tough luck.

Totally agree but some posts indicate that a fair few just don’t give a damn.

Yes but the '25%' have to have paid up club membership and there is a hierarchy. i.e. a tiered system where those with 'x' amount of previous match attendances are given priority over those who haven't managed as many or any attendances'. Its a crap system that only rewards 'regular' attendees, not anyone who can only manage a few games a year. And then there's the 'life long' ST scandal - that's like having a family peerage in the House of Lords, it passes on from father to son (not being sexist).

i have my ST so I am looking forward to the season. What concerns me is, IF we start to play well and get up the league, our away following will swell. We generally play at tin pot grounds with low crowd limits so could easily cause these clubs issues. Will we adopt the Liverpool FC attitude to away fans? We only give our away allocation to the committed fans who go to every away game. Meaning that occasional fans will struggle get tickets. Just a thought.

Think the Wales way is the fairest. Think a lot of clubs do it as well, more away games you’ve been to the better your chances of getting a ticket, split it into tiers so the most dedicated are in tier 1 then go down the list.

If new people want to get on it’s just about biding your time and going to some of the less fashionable aways and getting on that way imo.

I can't see it being too much of any issue.

Most clubs arent anywhere near full capacity so could accomodate more in some form or another.

Where it may be an issue at say Stockport or Notts County. I should imagine the away tickets will be first come first serve to season ticket holders. Or there will be a ballot for ST holders.

Is that not how we've always done it.

First come first served sounds far better than a ballot, but I'd prefer a points system like Superunknown has alluded to for the more fashionable away days.

It probably won't really be needed for much of this season though. Out of the games where we will get large followings:

- Southend is a little far for 5000 to travel down (we'll probably have 2000 down there). Very few season ticket holders will miss out on a ticket.

- Notts County's ground is huge and they sometimes offer out a whole side stand to large away followings like they did when Lincoln brought a ridiculous amount there.

- Alty's ground holds over 7000, if we wanted to take 5000 there they'd let us.

- Halifax and Chesterfield are both on Tuesday nights which will reduce our following.

That leaves Stockport, Solihull and the last couple of away days if we are at the business end of the table as well as any play off game. I suspect the away matches listed above will be all ticket for away fans, so perhaps a points system could be implemented for them which gives supporters priority for Solihull and the other later games? Might be a bit early to bring it in for Stockport, so I'd probably look at giving priority to 2019/20 and 2021/22 season ticket holders for that.

Posted this on Twitter earlier and it seems to work for those concerned that they haven't received a receipt for their season tickets.

Give it a go and it should bring up your order.

I was curious if this would work despite my mate buying them with me as part of his network. I now have my own confirmation, cheers Omni 👍
