People worrying about what they'll think of Wrexham have clearly never seen parts of Philadelphia or some of the poverty in Vancouver. Good and bad everywhere - they'll know that.

Surely we are allowed to comment on the state of our town without having to run for office?

Wrexham is grim in places and in my view has not been helped by some very poor decision making over the years.

However, there are far worse places around in my view - the decline of town centres across the UK in general is a real problem.

The amount of youths and alcohol/drug users hanging around the town does not help it's image one bit. I can imagine they can be quite scary for some.

i thought R&R chose Wrexham partly because it is a "blue collar" town, therefore Mayfair they are not expecting

Lets all play our part in making Wrexham great again, as a community we appear to be very good at highlighting the faults in our town. We now have a real chance to built a football club and a town that we can all be proud of. Wrexham is our home so lets tell people what a wonderful place it is.

I live in Wrexham and have done for decades , so I think that allows me to comment on the quality of local political leadership. I guess things look a little rosier when you are looking at it from Cardiff.
