Default Mullins - Attacking options

Don’t destroy me here peeps but I am wondering if Mullins will be used as an offensive midfielder playing high up/support striker. He’s mature and got a football brain on him....we do need to sign 2 proper marquee younger CM still who can run all day long. Almost all the Premier League teams all have one thing in common. Their squad includes world-class central midfield players..!

I'd hope we're not planning to waste a 32-goal striker in such a way.

I understand your angle, he definitely has the characteristics of a proper creative ball playing CF from what we've seen so far, a lower league Wayne Rooney if you will..

But we don't have several top strikers of his goal scoring ability, he is our leading man upfront.. no way can we change his position after breaking the league 2 goals record! Parky's job I'm sure is to replicate it..

Which is why we'll sign atleast 2 midfielders before the window closes. Playing players out of position, is not the correct approach.

Obvious its not ideal that its getting close to season started. But Id be amazed if we dont sign one this week. And we've still got 3 weeks before the window closes.
