Sure we've done it to death but I read somewhere work must have started before march 2022 for the application to stand?
Thats not far off in the grand scale of things, anyone know when and what this will entail? Does the barriers going count?

I think the March 2022 date relates to the funding.

There hasn't been a planning application submitted yet has there? they'd better get a move on.

Someone told me that plans are expected to emerge next month, possible planning in then or October. Will sail through even if it has a 650 metre statue of Ryan and Rob and is written in crayon

Would be good to have an update re. when the Westminster civil servants will inform councils if their applications have been successful. How long does it take to hold a meeting and boil a kettle??

The planned redevelopment of the Kop, as part of the Gateway Project is one of the most anticipated projects in Wrexham, with the Council having applied for public sector funding from the Levelling Up fund to support the plans.

It is a requirement of the application that work needs to have commenced before March 2022. The Club and Glyndwr University are keen to ensure that as much preparation as can be done in advance is undertaken.

Am I right in think that deadline of march 2022 is wrong, it just those who have started their development get priority as long as its started by the end of the fiscal year?

The Council have applied for funding from the UK Government and are waiting to hear back.
