Default Squad comparison with last season

Well we have signed some good players , but how will the initial team picked compare with last season ?
Goalkeepers; No change and they had a decent season .
Defence; our 3 regulars have all gone and an experienced centre back in Brisley came in and is now injured , hopefully not for too long.
The guy from Southend , Lennon ,has a fitness question mark against him as well.
The centre back from Carlisle , Hayden ,looks class , but may need an experienced head alongside him.
We still have Reckord , Cleworth And French , who can cover at the back and David Jones if he signs.
I’m not fully convinced and feel we need another centre back ,possibly on loan.
The wing back options are the same as last season , but they need to defend better.
In the midfield we have Davies and Young and a few other decent ball players , but no quality DMF player to replace Harris and Rutherford.
Our need here is urgent as we all know with 2 signings needed
Upfront we have recruited better than any of us dared to imagine , so no additions needed here.
So in conclusion if we are able to dominate games and feed our strikers we will win games , but against an effective midfield chances will come to the opposition and we may well drop points.
We must also factor in our disadvantage regarding signings between the transfer windows.

Good post that highlights that we are still a couple of players short .

Will we sign at least two before Solihull?
That is a tough first fixture , especially away.

We need to go there and win, we need to win every game. Anything less than three points every game should be seen as failure. Lets change the mentality. Solihull away should be 3points every time.
