[B]Brisley sustained a knee injury in the 2-2 draw at Spennymoor 10 days ago and
Parkinson admits the summer signing, due to see a specialist today, is a big loss.

"It didn't seem too bad and then the scan came back painting not a great picture but Shaun needs to see the knee specialist and we need to look at that because he is that leader for us at the back," said Parkinson.

"He heads the ball out of the middle of the goal and we need that."[/B]

CB also a priority it seems.
Maybe Vassell at a push...but we should try and get better if possible.

Immediate action needed. Carrington, Pearson, Vassell, Kelleher have all gone, all were excellent centre backs, any of whom I would have been happy to keep. Lennon and Brisley clearly aren't fit, signings this week please!

I don't think Vassell has been signed anywhere.
Could offer a short term deal with an option to a longer one.
Unless we can get in a higher level player on loan.

No they are not excellent centre backs. We would have kept them if they were. Time for Cleworth to step up. He is better than most of those you have mentioned.

For FS sake stop mentioning ex players who where obviously not in Wrexham plans for the future. Vassell I wouldn't have thought will be back if the the powers that be had thought he was ok they would have retained him.

Regardless of ex player or not looks like we need 2 x center backs in this week.

Reading the Brisely could be out a long term.

Theo Vassell will never come back, he actually deserves better should never have been released in the first place.
