Tomorrow is the start of what we hope will be the start of a great period in the playing history of our club.

However it will also be a sad day. Since the last time we all watched a Wrexham league game together sadly we have lost too many fellow fans.

Tomorrow and over the coming weeks, we’ll realise that their dad isn’t with them, his mate is missing, her husband isn't here. Often we won’t know their names but we’ll know that they are missing.

Those who know me, will know who I’m referring to. Gone but not forgotten.

Great post, really sad, long standing Wxm fans who supported the club through the tough times and won't be there now to see some good times.

In fairness, our older fans have seen the best days…and they don’t mind telling us!

Lovely post. First game I’ll be going to since my Dad passed away in July last year.

It won’t be the same without a txt from him after the final whistle asking about the game.

All things must pass -but not forgotten - a great post, I feel realy near to my Dad when sitting in the seats we used to occupy so many years ago. Just one reason why Wrexham FC is part of our lives.

Sadly I lost my old man in April. Should probably add a bit more but it will start me off.

We lost my dad a while ago now, but I didn't go regularly for about 10 years after he passed- going to the Racecourse was the thing we did together amd it was too difficult. So I know how hard it can be to come back on your own if you've lost loved ones who were fellow fans. Hopefully this season is the start if some good times for all of us, and it is as much for the dearly departed who suffered through the bad times as us.

Great Post.
I'm sure the club have it in hand but there should be time for reflection before the first home game.

This God awful virus has taken too many too soon.
I also have a colleague who is critical at the moment.
