I watch the highlights on Youtube and the sound often comes through my front left speaker and then when we score the crowd noise comes through the right speaker.


It was the same last season with the "Home" live streams. Sound quality all over the place.

Most have sound bars or a full surround sound system these days. Surely it can be sorted out.

That's the annoying thing, the media team has been doing it for like 8 years now. Inexperience is fine, not having the skillsets is also a pass on some things, but not having any desire to improve anything is what is really annoying. Even after a short while, you'd look at the clubs graphic design, photography, videography, audio etc. and think na that's quite poor really and want to improve it little by little. A lot of the fixes are 2-minute jobs that are only a google search away from improving.

It's wound me up for years. It was synonymous with the WST and how tinpot the club became. Broadcasting from Mark Griffiths spare room, those Microsoft paint cut out images of the media team we used to have before the highlights, graphic design lazily stuck with a strong black overlay over the images with some terrible typography slapped across it, single undiffused lighting making the "studio" photography the flattest, most lifeless photos (not to mention the lighting setup used only being suitable for white-skinned players)

Everyone I've spoken to that looks at our branding thinks it's shite. I'm amazed there's been no one hired to oversee it all because it was no where near good enough for who we were as a club under the WST so it's certainly not good enough for the global attention we're getting now

they have taken on Ollie (pothead) Williams and Colin Full time now so you would have thought it would be sorted with these muppets in charge

Perhaps Ryan or Rob can suggest something more appropriate ??

I vaguely remember one of the media team saying they wanted to use local bands more often as the backing for videos from the club. Didn’t they use a local band for a goal of the season compilation or something?

Or am I imagining that?

On a more positive note, the guy that interviewed Parkinson after today's match should be the one that does the post match interviews in future. Always does a good job and doesn't start with 'in terms' with every single question like the other guy.
