What is difficult to understand is why these players are not in place from the off. I am no expert in now the transfer market works, it will be interesting to see the quality of the players that we sign in the next 10 days just hope it is worth the wait.

We could potentially drop a few points before these players arrive and settle in to a playing pattern. These points could be valuable come the end of season. Most team's have a settled squad in place for the start of the season.

Realism isn’t negativity. It’s a decent point , but in the weeks to come we are up a against the likes of Stockport, Chesterfield and Notts County. If we go with that midfield and defence we could well get battered.

Cleworth and Jordan Davies - loads of potential but not yet ready to be regular starters.

Dibble - ok for the bench and the odd game here and there, but nowhere near good enough to be a regular

Lennon and Brisley - injured

Jones - barely played in the last two years

Jarvis and Redmond - flopped last season

Last season’s ok players all gone - Carrington, Rutherford, Pearson, Kelleher, Vassell.

If we want to be successful we need a proper keeper, better cover at the back and a proper midfield. Young and Davies go missing when we play the better sides. Solihull for me are a mid-table side at best.

It’s very early days but as I have said in previous seasons, all the points count, not just those late on. We need a good start because we could quite quickly be playing catch up to one of the other fancied teams.

If we are to sign more players, we need to get on with it.

And to finish, I cannot believe we have gone into another season with dibble in goal. Really pissed off we’ve thrown away 2 points today.
You shouldn’t be pissed off, you should be made up with the draw in the end and happy Solihull equalised this negativity needs to go ffs.

Solihull finished last season very strongly and have since improved the squad. Considering we have had a major rebuild which isn't yet finished we dont need to despair just yet.

It was a good point. Three would have been better but hey ho. The Jones goal was a cracker and Mullin was a class apart. Hayden looked decent and I thought Cleworth did well against a tricky player Hudlin. Reckord was poor and Davies didn’t look his usual self. Dibble was awful and nearly gave a goal away via a blooper right at the start…always good to give your outfield players confidence in you that! Hall Johnson looked like his groin had gone so might be out for a while. Wrexham crowd were awesome with a couple of exceptions who made pillocks of themselves unnecessarily. All in all not a bad day and that’s a tough away fixture done early doors (similar going to be said for Eastleigh!). Onward and upwards COYR!!

Rutherford was not an okay player last season-hardly any assists or goals.Carrington was made to look better than he was by Kelleher and Vassell.

Before the game with the team we had out id have taken the point but always getting to concede late albeit predictable. I'm equally annoyed I tried to bet on the draw at 9/1 a minute before we conceded but Coral suspended the odda
