However, what's done is done and we've got what we've got until January. I just hope we're still in the hunt for the title by then because I really don't fancy more play off heartbreak
Will make all the difference? We’ve only played 3 games; Jones and Tozer just two.

It looks like there’s goals in Davies, Young and Jones; as well as Hyde and Mullin. David Jones has an eye for goal too. Added to that, we have a back three which is arguably top of League 2 standard.

Don’t get me wrong, if a Lee Fowler type was signed on Tuesday, I’d have well and truly crashed my yogurt truck.

One thing I did note on Monday was how well we pressed the ball as a team. Jones looked very good. Maybe, instead of a midfielder “enforcer”, we’ll press higher and win the ball back that way.

Time will tell but I think you are correct AA. Do we need the someone sitting in a 352 formation. Brad Walker came in and made a big difference playing behind Young & Summerfield but we were playing 433 with a conventional back 4. When our full backs went forward, it left big gaps behind them, particulary Jennings, which Brad was tasked with covering and should now be covered by 1 of the centre backs.

Our midfield on Tuesday may lack the physique to knock players off the ball, but all 3 have good engines and can cover each others runs and press as a unit. Mullin & Hyde look like they are also prepared to graft and press from the front when we haven't got the ball.

Get the bronze statue of Brad Walker commissioned outside the new Kop.

It’s been missing from our team over the years as Keates as preferred a shape approach than pressing the hell out of teams. It’s be better to watch, that’s for sure.

I was thinking something like the Iwo Jima memorial, with all three of them in.

Nothing personal against the lad, but from a footballing perspective I do not understand why we retained his services.
