Re: Notts County Predictions
Much will depend on which team recovers better after yesterday’s exertions — standby for claims that players used to drink 10 pints, smoke 40 B&Hs, and do a full day’s toil in the fields before matches in the ‘old days’.
I think PP will make a few changes to rest those who didn’t have the full pre-season, which would be wise. From yesterday’s commentary, our biggest failing seemed we gave the ball away too easily, but looked very dangerous on the counter, and would have scored more but for their keeper. We need to improve in this area to deny them time on the ball. Notts County struggled against a 10-man Torquay, so are also not yet fully in tune. They should bring a good following, even though it’s a dreaded live game on BT. Surely we can now escape the curse of fluffing our lines when live on camera! Take Five, to the rhythm of the beat. I think we’ll prove too strong for County, and will slowly wear them down. Just need to put the chances away when they come. R&R will be there. Their protection detail will deal with the infatuated Yankee woman, and we will all see bigger glimpses of what will come. WXM 5 NC 0 Mullin 2, Hyde 2 & Angus 6,500 with some spending more time gossing at the Directors’ Box than watching the game!

Re: Notts County Predictions
A little optimistic there PD!
It will be a close run thing, whoever runs the midfield will likely win the game. We haven't seemed to do that well against Notts County recently or on the TV cameras, will that change? Hope so. Either a draw or a tight win to either side. I have a feeling it will be a corker for the watching audience |
