Hi folks

Some of you will remember my old website dedicated to Wrexham programmes of old: www.wrexhamprogrammes.weebly.com

It's was ok for a first attempt at a website but suffered from lack of search functionality and the ability to find info for a specific match. So two years ago I decided to move it to a new platform. Little did I know what I was getting myself into...

Two years later, after plenty of hard graft, research and help from others the new site is now in a state to share 'officially'. A few of you will have come across it already and it can be found at:
www.wrexhamafcarchive.co.uk

The site contains all the programme info from the old site but much, much more. All results, line-ups, goalscorers, attendances have been added for all competitive first team matches since 1919 together with all of the friendlies and reserve fixtures we have managed to unearth so far.

There is still much more to do but I hope you find it useful and of interest. Feedback on content, usability and accuracy is very welcome, either here or by email to wafcarchive@virginmedia.com.

Feel free to use and share the information. All we ask is that if you use something on the site please have the courtesy to acknowledge your source when doing so. It has taken a huge amount of time and effort from a number of people to get this far.

Please note this is just a first cut of data. We have built everything up from primary sources including newspapers, programmes etc and will be spending time verifying everything.
