Re: Southend Verdict
A good point at a tough place to get results. Positive that we are still unbeaten after 4 difficult matches.
We now have a week before the Woking match which is very winnable particularly if Mullin is back |

Unfortunately we have left it too late and now options are significantly reduced. I have no doubt we will make the play offs, but fear by January the top team will be out of touch. Madness that our biggest flaw from last season has not been prioritized. |
Re: Southend Verdict
Happy to get a point in the end but need to turn draws into wins and quickly...
On another note..49 goals in our league so far today!! |

Get mullings back and hopefully we will click. No point harping on about the midfield as it’s all we’ve got. We go again.[/quote] mullin. |

Think that’s the joke… |
Re: Southend Verdict
Thought Southend edged it, we weren’t good at all. Would have lost 2-0 in seasons gone by. Tremendous character to come back.
Mullin is so important to us, not what he does on the ball but his press. You don’t realise it until you take him out. Defence awful for their second. Thought we had Keates again. |

Were going up!!!! |
Re: Southend Verdict
Can look at it both ways. On one hand we've had 3 away games and 1 home game against a tough Notts County with a new squad so to come away unbeaten with 6 points at this stage might not be that terrible of a return. Though on the other I totally get why people expect instant results with the money we’ve spent and ultimately it’s 1 win from 4 which is definitely underwhelming.
Regardless that midfield needs questioning for me. Been too easy for teams to glide past us so far like Southend did way too many times today. Least it’s clear the mentality of the team is better as that’s a game along with Solihull and probably Notts we would’ve lost last season. So to be able to come back in those games is a big positive for me. Onto Saturday |
Re: Southend Verdict
We al know what this team is missing, we have failed to bring that in, so we make do until January. We have the two workhorse midfielders, and one very good attacking midfielder, but what we really need is someone who can control the game for us, but we all knew this anyway. We go again, and hopefully our start striker will be fit to play.
