Is it too early to describe the Woking game as a six pointer?

Told a lad I know he’d be back next week.

Yes, but you simply have to win most of your home games if you want to go up.

In a wider context, had they not been back to back. Would I have taken three points from NC (home), Solihull and Southend away? Probably. Just stings because of the manner in which we hammered NC for long periods, we’re winning at Solihull, and then today’s first half.

I predict we will struggle until Christmas while the team gels, then absolutely batter the league after that. If we don’t go up this year, it will be as 106 point champions the year after.

Mullin back next week. Said he wanted to and could’ve played today but PP didn’t want to risk it

Good getting a point away especially after going 2-0 down.

Midfield is the issue though. We can’t risk playing young and Davies together against the better teams as we keep getting over run and the pressure is pileing onto the defence.

I don’t think we’ll struggle but, equally, we ain’t going to be walking away with anything just yet.

Our midfield is not yet functioning but, today, Barry Horne highlighted the miscommunication between Reckord and Lennon, which left us vulnerable. That needs sorting, too.

Need a convincing win against Woking to settle the nerves and set us up for difficult games against Grimsby and D&R.

I was at the game and although I like Hayden, I personally think he was the weakest of the 3 today they had quite a bit of luck exploiting his and reckords side, and some of his passing can be very wayward. We gave Southend far too much time to cross the ball today and looked very vulnerable to balls over the top.

Also Hyde will score goals but it’s safe to say he will miss a few sitters too.

All in all tough game away at Southend, looked like we missed mullin especially in the first half, but we showed fight to bring it back to 2-2. Still unbeaten, but we do need to start turning these draws into wins.
