It’ll be folded and tucked in nicely within the owner(s) back pocket.

This cap would be all too easy to circumvent anyway. What would stop the next Paul Mullin we buy from making a ‘special’ appearance in Deadpool 3 or his wife from making shedloads whilst holding down some illegitimate job role? The club’s creative accountant would be on overtime!

While at Derby Tom Inces mum was allegedly paid £700k for scouting services to the club!

Let's be honest, we'd be it's biggest supporters if we were still under the WST

We should support it now. Our commercial and match day revenue must be significantly higher than in previous years. Could also be a reason we’ve given 3 year contracts in case a) a salary cap is brought in; and b) we’re not promoted this season.

That doesn't make sense. What's the point in having massively increased revenue streams if you can't spend it?

I think the point is , that the cap is usually based on the amount of revenue generated by the club . so it will be relative to the amount of money you bring in through ticket sales , sponsorship etc.

So we'd be better placed than pretty much anyone in the division currently ( although there are quite a few clubs in the league now with really decent attendance figures )

Course we would, and I’d definitely be all for it. But what’s happened has happened.

It's not though. It's a cap of 900k for every club that's being discussed. Your turnover is irrelevant.
It's the same as in the football league last year before it was scrapped where teams like Sunderland turn over around 20 million but were only allowed to spend 2.5 million.

I'll be honest in saying that I care very little about other football clubs as opposed to Wrexham. If it benefits us, I'll support it.
