I like PP but does he really think the midfield three compliment each other ? Maybe look at different options !

Not saying midfield is perfect by any means but sometimes you have to credit the opposition for making it difficult for yoy

I think we have said that for the first 4 games.

going to get really nerdy here:

With us playing a 5 at the back, wouldn’t we be better off with moving into a diamond 4-1-2-1-2 when we don’t have the ball and Tozer moving into a DM role to plug the huge hole behind our midfield 2?

At the minute, we have 3 CBS who stand off/drop back when they’re ran at, I feel as though we just need 1 of our CBS to step out and shield the defence. Tozer used to be a CDM by the way.

Interview questions are so lame. How about asking something more probing? Like "Do you think we lost the midfield battle today Phil?", "Did you try to bring any defensive centre midfielder in last week?", "Why didn't you bring on Dave Jones?".

Said exactly same on twitter... Trying to think of team who play a specialist cdm when playing 3 CB... I'd probably go with rather than tozer. Keep tozer next to Hayden
French is quicker and can cover more ground.

French is turning out to be a up and coming quality wing back with 2 assists today leave him there.

Honestly, I think we should play 41212 narrow as our starting formation with Tozer as the ball winning Brad Walker CDM type of player.

With Brisley and Hayden as our two CB when he is fully fit.

I think we will start to dominate games when playing in this shape due to the midfield overload, but yet again, I am not the manager and I'm sure our coaching team will do what they thinks best for the club.
