Which is very sad, and I know I might get myself in hot water for saying this, but, let's not forget that only 1 in 4 people violently murdered in the UK are women, meaning that 3 in 4 are men. Granted 90% of the murderers are men, but it still means that I am 4 times more likely to be violently mudered than my mrs. and 8 times more likely to be violently assaulted.
