I have no idea what a CEO of a football club is expected to do tbh. But looks like a lot of people also expect far more visibility.

Chief Executive Officer = deals with the brand, guides the philosophy, company spokesperson (the newsworthy stuff)

Chief Operating Officer = deals with the nitty gritty, compliance, administration, regulatory requirements (the boring stuff)

We haven't got a COO (och aye), but I think Fleur's main responsibilities should still be more in line with a typical CEO

The WST was poor, but they all had full time jobs outside the club

This is her full time job

Most people have a probation period of 3 months, in that period they should give you an idea of whether they'll be up to the job. 3 months has passed since her official 1st day

Very strange that Freur was nowhere to be seen in the hostility areas of the ground, never saw her in Bamfords for sure! …. Surely, this is a major part of her job…… mixing with customers!!

The clubs off the field set up is amateur and this year it’s had to build as well as respond to massive increase in demand as well as issues around covid and Brexit. One of those things would have been hard - all of them at the same time even more challenging.

In terms of the style of the CEO, I guess it depends on them and the organisation they are part of. I’m not sure we need R&R, Ker, and the CEO to be a spokesperson. From the outside I would guess FR first focus is the commercial side - and perhaps this is part of the change.

Also quite interesting the big culture change we still need to go through. Whatever your views on the employee in question, this is an internal staffing issue that has literally nothing to do with us.

Bit of sense at last.

Same here, no response to my emails over season ticket issue, it’s just not good enough! I’m fcuking fuming over the lack of communication and I will be going to the shop next week and I won’t leave until it’s resolved!!
