Woking Predictions
Tough game, this one. It's really important that we score first. Woking have started like a house on fire away from home and will be full of confidence. Start like we did in last home game and we will score first and go on to win by 2 clear goals. If woking score first, it could be a long afternoon.
My prediction... We'll score that first goal and go on to win 3-1, scorers Hyde, Davies and Young. |
Re: Woking Predictions
To me, this is a game where we’ve got to set a bit of a marker.
Full week of training behind them, Mullin hopefully back, full house. 3-0 to Wrexham |

Re: Woking Predictions
Must win. Simples!
Won’t be easy but no games are. The Racecourse will be rocking provided we get an early goal. It’ll be the 20th anniversary of 9/11, so hope we have minute’s silence to remember those who lost their lives in that act of terrorism that has caused mayhem across the globe. WXM 3 Woking 0 |
Re: Woking Predictions
This is the first game where I have us down as comfortable favourites.
They beat Torquay 4-0 away and also won their other game on the road so they obviously have something about them. However, we should be beating them, especially with 8k+ home fans cheering us on. 2-0. Goal in each half. Mullings and Young. |

Re: Woking Predictions
We'll pump the living daylights out of them.
3-0 (Mullin, Hyde and JJ). A game we need to show we're serious and teams should fear coming here. Be great with the extra 3k+ there to get them coming back. Up the gin drinkers |

Was that the match when we had two players sent off and they scored in injury time? |
Re: Woking Predictions
Wrexham 4 Woking 1
|
Re: Woking Predictions
I think we're in for a tougher time than we anticipate but I also think we have enough about us, especially at home, to win.
2-1 Wrexham with Hyde and Mullin getting a goal each. |

I’m expecting a 2 or 3 nil scoreline with a very assured Wrexham performance.

Yeah, I noticed that. You'd swear it had been hijacked by Chester fans...14 years in non league, should be in the welsh league, sheep sh4ggers, play off bottlers blah blah |

Yeh a right chopsy bunch. I've been searching the record books but can't find any mention of Woking doing anything, at any time, so to take the piss back would be a bit like kicking a kitten. |
Re: Woking Predictions
Just realised, Jake Hyde playing against his old club and Jordan Maguire-Drew playing for them.
|
Re: Woking Predictions
If Wrexham win the start weve had won't seem so bad. If we draw we remain unbeaten but then doubts start to creep in. If we lose questions have to be asked. W1 D3 L1 isn't a good start by any stretch of the imagination. Confident they'll get a result and kick off with a win at home to Woking then a win away to Grimsby.

Don't know how we can really be called play off bottlers, only been in them 4 times! :D |

I can only imagine that because we've rattled a few cages since the takeover peoples prejudices are coming out. Its bizzare. |

I suspect its due to our 98 pt season and we failed to go up through the playoffs |
Re: Woking Predictions
Who cares what they think? All the supporters on their forum who are giving it the big one would love it if Ryan and Rob had taken over their club, as would supporters of pretty much every other club at this level. Their 'opinions' are formed from bitterness and jealousy, and I'm loving it.

Exactly that; pure bitterness and jealousy. It’s funny as they’ve all gone for a Woking win, hope they put their money where their mouth is they’ll make a fortune at the bookies. Me thinks they’re gonna be in for a shock on Saturday at 5pm |

I watched the highlights of their game at Torquay and they literally could have won 8-0. Mind you, Torquay were shocking and had a player sent off at 0-2. |

I expect Woking to be much better than last season, but we have to be confident of a win. Our pessimism comes from the past decade or so! |
