I'm going to make my decision week by week.
I tested positive this week and feel dreadful, so have to isolate. I have been double jabbed too. I am gutted to be missing the game on saturday but there will be plenty more.

The match streaming service would be good for all those like me doing the sensible thing and staying home.

I didn’t criticise the steward or the club. My point was about meaningless Covid theatre which is imposed on institutions by the new Covid culture and some nonsensical Government guidelines.
Absolutely 100% agree.

Please dont take this the wrong way as it is out of genuine interest not a piss take and is a general remark not aimed at yourself.
Up until 18 months ago,if someone was feeling under the weather, would it have stopped you attending the match? Bearing in mind flu is also a transmissible virus which kills many many people each year. If the media, had in the past, posted each day the number of people who had died of flu,the number of cases etc would we have adopted the attitude we do now towards covid? Dont want to get into the whole covid debate,we are all entitled to our opinions, just curious re this specifuc point.

I was ill after the Curzon friendly but pretty sure I caught it in the pub later (probably the third time I’d been in one in the last 12 months). I tested positive as did a lad I was talking to in the pub later. Doubled Jabbed but still ill, if you had the AstraZeneca and felt bad afterwards it was very much like that but for five days. Sweating, headaches and aching body, lost my taste and smell. Stay safe all.

Was gonna say something similar. If we all treat covid like flu and stay in bed a few days to get over it (for the doubled jabbed) and not worry about it so much then everyone's mental health would improve tenfold.
