If he's first to come in when there's injuries or suspensions in midfield I'd be worried.

There must be some free agents out there we can take on til January?

Mcalinden caused problems ? . He was like a kid in a playground match who suddenly found the ball at his feet.

Young not good enough ? One of our best players in each of the last three seasons. Another all action performance today.
lol

Last season we had Ruthers coming on to see games out whilst hoofing the ball anywhere and everywhere we could. Young has struggled to keep up with the tempo we’ve played at, and looks the weakest of the 3 in midfield. You can’t knock his work rate and that’s just about keeping him in the side at the moment. He gave the ball away far too many times today needlessly.

Im quite impressed with James jones. Looks quite an intelligent footballer at our level.

Spot on this, wasn’t sure what to make of J Jones at first, but think he is improving with every game. I also agree with others, until Jordon got his knock, that was our best midfield performance this season so far, do need strengthening though

Fine for a mid table team but wants far too many touches and he's so weak it's unbelievable really

I still like young but a few times yesterday he wanted too much time on the ball and was caught out!

Surely PP can see we are struggling in midfield. I think he will be looking at free agents to plug the gap until Jan.

The next three games will determine if we need to strengthen now and not in January I believe.
