Default Woking Covid Cases

See Woking have postponed their next two matches because a player has tested positive for Covid. Hope this does not affect us given last Saturday's match against them.

Have any of the rest of their squad tested positive? If not then postponing 2 matches seems excessive. Surely best policy is for the infected player to self isolate and everyone else is fine to go to work. It's what the rest of the country are doing!

Altringham have done the same. I agree it seems strange given only one positive test, but surely they must have the league's support to do this.

If team members have had both jabs then I thought they did not have to self isolate, but may need daily tests.

I can only assume many of the Woking team and coaches etc have not been vaccinated.

That's worrying as the league will be screwed come winter. Way OTT that as premiership clubs don't do it.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of footballers and professional sports people haven't been vaccinated.
A lot were originally concerned that an adverse reaction could affect their training etc...

Out of curiosity, in previous seasons would this have been a fixture we would have travelled to same day? It's around a 3 hour drive and an evening kick off.
