Fair enough, but if that's the case she's brought on board Tiktok and Expedia as sponsors and in doing so brought in sponsorship revenue the likes of which we've never seen before. Which is what's allowing us to bring in Mullin, Tozer, Hayden etc.
You can't pin all the blame for everything that's wrong on her and not give credit for the good. You can't really judge the job a Chief Exec is doing until they've brought in their own people anyway. Give her 6 months at least. |

All fair points Michael - and you didn't even mention the ticketing-system fiasco, and more importantly, the way in which it was handled.

A month ago I had a moan about the lack of physios at the club, especially after PP came out and said he wants his players to have good care and rehabilitation and injury prevention when he first joined. PP had been in charge for a few months at this point
What happened then? We appointed Kevin Mulholland, ex Southampton physio and current international physio. Who has also stripped the physio room to bring in top-level equipment. People need to realise that things WILL get better but it takes time, you think things happen overnight, which they don’t. Fleur, and the likes of Matt and Dan in the club shop, are not used to this kind of stuff, so give them time. I have all faith that they will sort everything out |

Get real. The club is a medium sized business undergoing massive growth, 100 days is a blink of an eye. Huge season ticket demand, overhaul of a stand, new pitch, massive transfer window - they are some of the things we know about, never mind the ones we don’t.
And anyway, I’m sure she’s got some clear KPIs and targets in her performance management discussions with her line manager (Humphrey?) so if she’s really doing that badly I guess her services will be dispensed with. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if Fleur was Fred I’m not at all convinced this criticism would be mounting up in the same way. |
