The reality is some teams like Chesterfield needed fine tuning while we needed overhauling so they are in a better position. I don’t think we will win the league, but if we can go into the play offs strong we have a chance.
Very good and realistic reply.

The fact our midfield 3 still get's dominated by an opposition midfield 2 is concerning to say the least. Parky made a mistake tonight starting Redmond who hasn't played for the best part of 2 years in a big game like tonight. Sounded like we played better when McAlinden came on so hoping he will start on Saturday.

I fully expected a difficult start to the season with our fixtures and new squad, so not panicking yet.

Seems Grimsby have managed to get their post match interview with their manager online pretty quickly https://youtu.be/Mzlw9Cd2CB8, whereas we are still waiting for the Woking post match interview

Sounds like PP wanted to make himself a hero starting Redmond for the documentary, but it backfired. Midfield is absolutely dire, people are saying Jones has impressed since he’s arrived. He’s a good player, you can see that but he’s hardly done a thing with the ball.

Awful tonight. Cleworth unfortunately had a shocker first half, they targetted him. Our goal came completely against the run of play.
Whole midfield individually were dreadful. Did we win a single second ball?

Taking Hyde off a huge mistake. Barely touched the ball in their half afterwards.

We’ll be fine, we were due a reality check one day. Just crap that it was against a bang average side.

Another one beating the club with a stick. All I care about is what goes on the pitch.

That’s going well at the minute isn’t it ? That question is for the ones that said they didn’t care about off field matters.

Not at all, hearing what the manager has to say, has everything to do with what’s going on on the pitch

I can’t doubt your commitment going along with the other 500 + fans this evening especially with the weather forecast which could of put some off.

The comment regarding reality check. Teams we have played: Solihull [ D ] Eastleigh [ W ] Notts County [ D ] Southend [ D ] Woking [ W ] Grimsby [ L ]

Hardly the best of starts. I can only pass judgement on Notts County game as that’s the only game I have been to so far. What’s your thoughts on the games you have attended?
