Let's not forget it's Parkinsons first 6 games for us and his first 6 games at this level.

When Keates returned he only got 5 points from his first 8 games

Obviously expectations are higher with Parkinson, and the budget is twice what Keates was , so the comparison is redundant in my view.

It's a really tougbt start to the season. We'll be there or thereabouts at the end
That’s an interesting point. If you think you are the best team in the league and expect to win it, you can’t believe that there are lots of teams that would make a hard fixture list. Surely you would only have 2 or 3 true rivals?

I suppose we are not that title winning side, we are top 7 side at best at the moment

Just listened to Paul Hurst’s interview. Grimsby have one fit striker at the minute and are looking to strengthen with a quality new addition to compete.

Stockport also strengthening their squad this week.

We need to do the same in midfield and another target man also. When Hyde left the field we offered very little, just the same as the Notts County match.

Very disappointing result and sounded an awful performance, I think the team selection and not addressing the midfield issues will cost up to January. We kept way too many players on from last season, Redmond is a bottle job and a passenger, why keep Jarvis if he isn’t getting a look in, Young isn’t good enough, Reckord not good enough, Cleworth isn’t anywhere near ready to play competitively at this level and we have found ourselves having to start with these carrying passengers.

I predicted a slow start so I am not getting carried away, strengthen massively in January and we will go on a run to win the league. (Possibly)

We do but our options are very limited until January.

Injuries to Lennon and Brisley hasn’t helped.

We will be out of the title race by January for sure. Who carries the can for keeping last season's midfield ? Got to be PP I guess because he's had the funds.

Young is the most overrated player in Wrexham history and that's saying something
My God , some of the over reactions on here are astounding !!! reading some of the comments are over the top for sure , we have lost 1 in 6 , yes not the best start , But as the saying goes you dont win the league in september , We need to turn draws into wins thats for sure , But please Calm down .

Last season, with a couple of exceptions, we failed to perform against the better teams in the league, the next 2 games will show us how we have improved or not.

Bit concerned about the long ball tactics, I was hoping we’d seen the last of keatesball.

Like many, I was disappointed for Redmond and I hoped that he would take this opportunity and put the last couple of years behind him but he was woeful and I hope that we don't see him in a Wrexham shirt again...Grimsby took their chances well but they didn't really offer much and until that 3rd goal, I always felt that we could maybe have sneaked it. Last 20 mins though, we just ran out of ideas and resulted in bypassing the midfield entirely and you could see the frustration on Mullens face. I don't remember Lainton having too many saves either though
